Meet Rae, the 12 week old golden retriever who lost one of her ears at birth by accident. The puppy was taken to the vet ER to receive stitches but the doctors ended up amputating the ear. As Rae required a lot of attention to recover, her owner gave her up for adoption to the veterinary clinic. One of the employees adopted her and gave her all the care and attention she needed. Soon as she began healing, her owner noticed her remaining ear had moved upward in her head and began to have a fluffy ear unicorn. She uploaded photos on instagram and tik tok and they immediately went viral. The internet named her "Golden Unicorn" for her one ear at the top of her head.
