Fla. Man and His 'Paw-tner' in Crime Both Arrested for Shoplifting [PIC]

Brandon, FL -- A Florida man and his furry "accomplice" were taken into custody by Hillsborough County deputies who said the man was shoplifting.

HCSO said Logan Wilson was arrested on Wednesday and charged with petit theft and possession of meth. Wilson admitted to sealing $259 of merchandise from Bass Pro Shops, deputies said.

Wilson's "paw-tner" in crime was also taken into custody. The HCSO Facebook posted a picture of an officer holding a small puppy before handing him over to the Hillsborough County Animal Services.

Animal services will look after the dog until his owner is released from jail. They have the puppy listed as "pre-adopted."

If Wilson never claims the dog, it will go up for adoption.
