Katy Perry Gives Glittery First Performance Of 'Small Talk' On 'Ellen'

Katy Perry was a sparkly pink goddess during her recent trip to Ellen where she performed her new single, "Small Talk," for the very first time on TV.

The 34-year-old singer released the song at the end of August and the video features her adorable pup, Nugget, and a bunch of other cute dogs. She recently has only performed the song once during her infamous "Potty Jams" where her band and backup singers join her in a public bathroom to perform stripped down versions of her hit songs.

For her first televised performance of "Small Talk", Perry proved she's still as eccentric (and talented) as ever. The pop star wore head-to-toe pink for her performance featuring a glittery dress featuring a giant bow on the front.

Keeping the theme of the video in mind, a giant pink balloon dog was brought on stage — complete with a pearl necklace and all. Watch the performance here.

The singer also sat down with Ellen DeGeneres and discussed the end of her feud with Taylor Swift. "We made amends and I’m all about redemption and forgiveness and for setting an example for those younger people," she said.

Perry also dished on her love life as well and gushed about her engagement to Orlando Bloom. "He is the kindest man I have ever met," she said of her fiancé. "He shows up, he is such an encouragement spiritually, emotionally, and physically."

The couple has yet to set a wedding date and have been engaged since this past February.
