Reese's Is Freezing Peanut Butter Eggs

People LOVE Reese's Peanut Butter Easter Eggs—some say they have the perfect ratio of chocolate to peanut butter. So when supplies run out after Easter, it's a longgg wait 'til the following spring when you can find them in stores again. To keep some people from being disappointed, Reese's is making sure Reese's Eggs are around a little bit longer this year.

Remember last week when people noticed Reese's was following Frozen on Instagram? It turns out there's not a direct collab coming, but there is a great Reese's freeze of 2019 on our hands. "We know our fans dread the end of Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs season," Easter Reese's manager Jan Grinstead said in a press release (also what?! That title!!). "So, we wanted to surprise them with a chance to get their hands on our iconic Eggs long after Easter."

The brand will be freezing a bunch of eggs and re-releasing them come summer—the in-between point of Easter and Halloween, when the next Reese's shapes come out. To win a batch of 36 frozen eggs, head to Reese's social channels (Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram) at 3 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, April 16. They'll post a link to claim your Reese's eggs. The site will be live through April 19 at 3 a.m. EDT, or while supplies last—and something tells me they'll be gone before Friday.

Of course, if you don't win, you can always stock up now and store them in your own freezer. The eggs are available on Amazon and in grocery stores, so it's really just a matter of willpower.
