VIDEO: Humvee Hits Trail Rider And Horse On Way To Houston Rodeo

(Houston, TX) -- A horse and its rider are okay and still participating in the Sam Houston Trail Ride after being hit by a Humvee on Thursday. The white Hummer bumped into the horse as the trail riders made their way south on Tomball Parkway near the Grand Parkway. The rider, 22-year-old Tucker White, wasn't hurt when the Humvee's headlight clipped the horse's rump, drawing a bit of blood. Nearby rail riders say the driver ignored the mounted marshal's orders to leave an open lane between vehicles and horses.
