Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown is coming to town. Spring to be exact. The Wet & Wild Splashtown is the new name of what's to come.

When the park opens this spring ...in Spring, the redesigned waterpark will be on 48-acres. Caribbean themed with new custom signage. Plus, an all new maquee. It opens May 4th.

So the attractions include over 40 slides and attractions, Six Flags confirms.

The waterpark will now have now have a six-story waterslide.

The company released details today, adding that Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown will be Houston's largest waterpark and will now have now have a six-story waterslide.

“We are thrilled to welcome Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown into the Six Flags family of parks,” said Park President Jeffrey Siebert.

Six Flags have four other waterparks across the country.
