Walmart Neighborhood Markets hiring temporary help in wake of Harvey

Walmart aims to hire more than 150 temporary workers to staff a dozen area Walmart Neighborhood Markets affected by Hurricane Harvey. 

Walmart announced two hiring events, Tuesday and Wednesday, for cashier, sales floor and overnight associate positions.

The temporary help is being brought in to give permanent workers affected by flooding time to attend to those issues without worrying about their job, the company said.
