The #SquatYourDog Challenge Is Taking Social Media By Storm

posted by Marvin Moore -

Are you looking for a way to spend more quality time with your dog and add a little fun to your workout routine?  The #SquatYourDog Challenge might be just the thing.

Instagram has been flooded with videos of people hoisting their dogs up onto their shoulders and doing squats.  According to ABC News, the whole thing started with Alyssa Greene of Wichita Falls, Texas. Greene thought it would be fun, so she posted a video of herself squatting Colonel, her 70-pound Golden Retriever, and invited people to post their own videos.  Her initial video has been viewed more than 21,000 times and the SquatYourDog hashtag is approaching 500 posts on Instagram.
