Places like Shipley's, Dunkin' Donuts, and Krispy Kreme are giving away some deep-fried goodies today, but if you don't feel like waiting in line there are other local, niche shops around the city where you can more than get your sugary fix.
Wide Open Country recently picked the top 10 doughnut shops in Texas and three Houston locations made the cut among other location from San Antonio to Dallas.
