The Center for Recycled Art is hosting their first Teacher Store Shopping Day event of 2017! It's this Saturday, January 21st, 11am-3pm inside the Texas Art Asylum space at 1719 Live Oak, just east of downtown.
The Teacher Store invites public school teachers in once a month to load up on cheap supplies. Brown paper bags are provided and supplies are sold in bulk at $5 per bag. The Center for Recycled Art's Teacher Store has tons of stuff...paper, yarn, craft supplies, raw wood shapes, binders and desktop accessories, children's books, holiday decor, fabric, medical bits and bobs, pens, pencils, markers, crayons, paper tubes, magazines and lots more!
