The youngsters were born to first-time mom, Squirt, and dad, Rio, on April 11. The world's largest rodents, they are born with fur, open eyes and a full set of teeth. They can weigh up to 150 pounds as adults.

Bruno and Pepa quickly started eating solids and have already become excellent swimmers, according to the zoo.

Capybaras have webbed feet, which help them swim and walk on soft, muddy ground, and they can stay underwater for around five minutes. To keep water out of their ears, they pull them close to their heads when swimming.

To see the capybara family, head to the grasslands habitat of the South America Pantanal exhibit on your next zoo visit.
