Jay's Weekend In Five Pictures 8/6-8/9

We were all over the place this weekend.

My wife and I had to travel to Bryan/College Station to take care of a few things.

We stayed at a hotel called The George...

This is a pretty sweet hotel.

When you walk in, you'll see this awesome wall of books dedicated to First Lady & Champion of Literacy Barbara Bush...

I know what you're thinking....the answer is no....you can't pull any of the books out.

They're all attached together.

Our stay was enjoyable. The hotel was quiet, the other guests were respectful and there is a bunch of restaurants close by.

You can learn more about The George HERE.

Cavalry Court is right across from The George. That was also really cool and unique. You can check it out HERE.

When we returned to Houston, we got invited to hang out with our neighbors and a Goldeneye tournament broke out!

Shout out to our neighbor, Jason, for still having a Nintendo 64 hooked up to his TV.

I haven't played Goldeneye in a seriously long time.

I quickly found out that I really suck at it, but we had so much fun.

Speaking of fun, Julie and I completed another puzzle!

That's a 2000 piece puzzle from Ceaco featuring Mickey and friends at the theme park.

We got so much enjoyment putting this one together and it makes us want to go to Walt Disney World.

FUN FACT: This is actually our second time doing this one. We first did it back in June.

That border was challenging, but it got easier as we completed the scenes around it.

Finally, I said goodbye to an old friend....my golf cart.

This was one of my favorite toys and I'm sorry to see it go, but we weren't using it enough.

I know the new owner will take great care of it and use it more often than we did.

That's all for now.

Thanks for reading.

-Jay
