Starting next week, Astronaut Days at Space Center Houston will give visitors the chance to “meet an astronaut, train like an astronaut, have breakfast with an astronaut and more!”
The event will run August 5-8 and activities will include Q&A sessions, bingo, book signings, storytelling, space movie trivia, and more. Train Like An Astronaut sessions will happen daily, weather permitting, at 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM, for kids ages 4-12. Independence Cue in Independence Plaza will even be be serving dishes inspired by the "All-American Meal" prepared for the final space shuttle crew as the spacecraft made its last voyage.
