Psychics pushed into moving their businesses online by the COVID-19 pandemic have a found a huge Millennial and Gen Z customer base waiting for them. The gist of it is that the move online has been very good for business, with one clairvoyant medium saying that 98% of her business is now online. Many spiritualists have adapted to the new technology (some well in advance of COVID), promoting their services (and building their brands) on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram, and charging for virtual tarot card sessions, palm readings, psychic checkups, and energy healings at their own websites or using platforms like Pateon, Cameo, and Etsy. Some even see mystical forces at work in the randomness of social media algorithms, with one subject finding meaning in which tarot videos are suggested to which users on TikTok's "For You Page".
