"The Mandalorian" stars set for Houston's Comicpalooza

Four stars of the hit Disney+ series "The Mandalorian" are slated to appear at Houston's Comicpalooza, Sat. and Sun., July 17-18, at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Ming-Na Wen, and Katee Sackhoff are among the most popular characters in streaming series.

"Star Wars" fans can plan on seeing a number of other attractions and exhibitors, including 501st Legion, Ultra Sabers, and Star Wars Enthusiasts of Houston, according to the event's organizers.

The 501st Legion’s booth is expected present five features, and Ultra Sabers will offer fans an opportunity to customize personal lightsabers in any color.

Carl Weathers

The former NFL player-turned-actor portrays Greef Karga in the show. In 1976, Weathers launched his career in the role of Apollo Creed in the "Rocky" films. He has also been seen in the "Toy Story" franchise, "Happy Gilmore," "Predator," and others.

Giancarlo Esposito

A widely respected veteran actor, Esposito plays villain Moff Gideon in "The Mandalorian." The four-time Emmy nominee is best known for his performance as Gus Fring in the AMC’s "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul." You may also recognize him from the "Maze Runner" series, "The Jungle Book," "Once Upon a Time," and "The Boys."

Ming-Na Wen

Wen played Dr. Jing-Mei “Deb” Chen in the TV series "ER" and Fa Mulan in the animated "Mulan" and its sequel. She plays Fennec Shand in "The Mandalorian."

Katee Sackhoff

Sackhoff's role as Lt. Kara “Starbuck” Thrace in the SyFy Channel series "Battlestar Galactica" earned her a Saturn Award. She has also appeared in "The Flash," "Longmire," "Riddick," "Bionic Woman," and "Halloween: Resurrection." Sackhoff plays Bo-Katan Kryze in "The Mandalorian."
