Stories about Whataburger's secret menu have been making the rounds again this week. KPRC 2 has a short list of unadvertised menu items confirmed by Whataburger. That list includes Breakfast on a Bun Ranchero (adds Picante Sauce and fresh jalapenos), Grilled Cheese with Grilled Vegetables (the classic grilled cheese with fajita veggies), and Whatachick’n Strips & Pancakes (just what it sounds like, kind of a Whataburger twist on chicken and waffles).
In our research we also came across the YouTube video below from BabbleTop. It's a couple of years old, but claims to present a list of ten Whataburger secret menu items. Some of them are nonsense, but a few of them sound INCREDIBLE. Highlights include an Apple Pie Milkshake, a Veggie Burger that subs a hash brown for the burger patty, a custom soda mix called The Hulk, and an orange soda/vanilla milkshake combo they claim is called The Longhorn. These are sketchy and some are technically more menu hacks than secret menu items, but Whataburger should have the necessary ingredients for most of them. The important thing is, I really wanted to tell you about that Apple Pie Milkshake. Whataburger definitely still has apple pies and vanilla milkshakes. Probably worth a try next time you're in the market for a sweet treat.
