Mom Creates Interactive Halloween Map For Safe Trick-Or-Treating

Ashley Wilson is a mom from Austin who wants to keep our kids safe as they trick-or-treat this year.

Using her background in data science, she created a website called No Tricks Just Treats.

The site includes an interactive map which shows houses that will be participating in Halloween this year with COVID-19 precautions.

The map features custom icons which correspond to the type of precautions at each house.

For example:

Spiders= Trick-Or-Treat As Usual

Teal Circle= Allergy-Friendly

Cauldron= Kids Will Find A Bowl Of Candy & No Interaction

Pumpkin= Guests Will Be Greeted Wearing Masks And Socially Distanced

Witch Hat= Candy In Individual Bags & No Interaction

Ghosts= Creative Ideas & No Interaction (ex: candy chute)

You can find the map HERE and add your home HERE.

Stay safe and have a Happy Halloween!
