The Lion King has not been released yet and it is on pace to be one of the biggest hits of the Summer. Early box office tracking has the movie doing between $180 million and $230 million opening weekend. This won't knock Avengers: Endgame out of first place as far as opening weekend records but it's still big if predictions are accurate. One the low end, The Lion King would have the biggest opening weekend for one of the Disney reimaginings to date. It will feature Donald Glover as Simba, Beyonce as Nala, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and the return of James Earl Jones as Mufasa. The movie hits theaters July 19th Do you plan to see The Lion King?
