Ellen DeGeneres is a true renaissance woman — now, she’ll try her hand at matchmaking for pal Debra Messing.
On Thursday’s episode of “Ellen,” Messing, 50, spoke about how she fared in 2018. One of her resolutions had been to date — but she failed to go out with a guy the entire year.
“No one has asked me on a date,” Messing said. “Not one.”
DeGeneres suggested Messing get single friends with whom she can venture out. Then she offered to set up Messing with a good guy.
“Really smart, really funny, cares about the world,” Messing said of her minimum criteria for dating. “That third one is really tricky!”
The “Will & Grace” actress doesn’t care if the dream guy works in the industry, but she would prefer if he didn’t.
As for age, Messing is willing to date 10 years younger or older.
Messing added that her 14-year-old son, Roman, isn’t a factor when it comes to dating. In fact, she says Roman is begging for her to go on a date.
Messing was previously married to Daniel Zelman from 2000 to 2016.
