You've probably heard of 15-year-old Cassidy Stay of Houston, Texas.  Last month, her uncle murdered her mom, dad and four siblings.  Cassidy was shot in the head, but survived by pretending to be dead.

At a memorial for her family, she quoted Professor Dumbledore from "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban", saying, quote, "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

She added, quote, "I know that my [family is] in a much better place and that I'll be able to see them again one day."

After a Facebook page was created for Cassidy to meet J.K. Rowling, the author did reach out to the girl.

Sending her a hand-written letter FROM Dumbledore, written in purple ink . . . along with a wand, an acceptance letter to Hogwarts and an autographed copy of "Prisoner of Azkaban".
