A Dodgers ball girl earned some of the most enthusiastic cheers of the game when she stepped in Sunday at Dodger Stadium to help end a fan’s romp through the outfield.
The fan ran toward the right field foul line with security personnel in pursuit when the ball girl dropped into an athletic stance, then pounced to block the fan’s path before he summersaulted over a wall and into the stands.
He was apprehended by authorities. Fans who make it onto the field usually get a fine, a lifetime ban from the stadium and possible jail time.
