Are You Ready For The Return Of Must-See TV Thursdays?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC is making Thursday night Must-See TV again!

If you were watching TV in the '90s, you probably remember that NBC's Thursday night lineup once dominated with powerhouse comedies including Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, Mad About You, and Will & Grace, leading into the long-running medical drama ER.  The network used the "Must-See TV" branding from 1993 to 2006.  NBC eventually moved on from the "Must-See TV" idea and Thursday became just another night for them.  Sometimes it featured reality shows, sometimes multiple dramas, etc.

The return of Will & Grace this fall has Thursday night back in the spotlight, and NBC is rolling out a new Must-See TV lineup to round out the night.  Will & Grace will kick off the night at 7pm CST, with the TV newsroom comedy Great News at 7:30.  This season's breakout hit This Is Us moves to Thursdays at 8pm and 9pm will feature the new spinoff Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders at 9pm.

No word on the exact date this kicks off, but start planning now to keep your Thursday nights free in the fall.
