UPDATE: The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch through Tuesday evening for Austin, Brazoria, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Grimes, Harris, Houston, Jackson, Liberty, Madison, Matagorda, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, Washington and Wharton Counties.
Forecasters are predicting a 30-40% chance of a wintry mix on Tuesday, as another front moves through the area; up to four inches of snow could fall on the Houston area. It's the second Winter Storm Watch in less than a week.
Two days after rain, ice, and snow drove Houstonians indoors – and caused serious traffic headaches – high’s today are expected in the 70’s. Temperatures will start dropping Monday with a high only in the upper 50’s, and winds over 20-mph.
High temperatures by Tuesday could be 20-degrees below normal.
