A crane operator is currently being treated for injuries he suffered while at the top of a 200-foot crane.
Houston Fire Department got the call of an injured construction worker around 4PM Friday. A crane operator had fallen during a shift change in a high-rise construction crane.
HFD firefighters then used the crane itself to lower the injured worker to the ground. That injured man was in an out of consciousness and was complaining of back and neck pain.
The high-angle rescue was also responsible for tying up traffic during rush-hour that affected the Galleria area passed 7PM.
